This Privacy Policy explains how Covered Call Pro (“Covered Call Pro,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and Service. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up, our identity provider (Clerk) collects your email address and authentication credentials, and may collect a name or profile details you provide.
  • Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment-card and billing details; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We retain limited records such as your subscription status, plan, and a Stripe customer identifier.
  • Usage and watchlist data. We store the inputs you provide to operate the Service — for example tracked tickers, trading-capital amount, expiration and strike preferences, contract counts, and lesson progress.
  • Technical data. We and our infrastructure providers automatically collect standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and reliability.

2. How we use information

  • to provide, operate, and personalize the Service;
  • to process subscriptions and manage billing;
  • to generate analytics and the AI Strategy Brief from the inputs you submit;
  • to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law;
  • to communicate with you about your account and support requests.

3. How information is shared (subprocessors)

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management;
  • Stripe — payment processing and billing;
  • Vercel — web application hosting;
  • Railway — backend/API hosting;
  • Neon — database hosting for your account and watchlist data;
  • Anthropic — the large-language-model provider that generates AI Strategy Brief text from your inputs and market data;
  • Market-data providers (including Yahoo Finance) — queried for prices and option data.

We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Policy and provide any consent controls required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; when you delete your account, we remove your watchlist and subscription records from our database, subject to records we must keep for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. 8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

We operate in the United States and our providers may process data there and elsewhere. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
